The Breakfast Creek Wharf building’s location in proximity to a major arterial road, local businesses, a heritage listed site and high voltage power line, meant considerations on this project extended well beyond the mechanics of just demolition.
As principal contractor, we conducted dilapidation reports prior to and post project to demonstrate there were no structural defect issues arising from our works.
Engagement of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) who endorsed our non-standard (and safer) approach to demolition of the tower; excellent community relations with local businesses and other project stakeholders; successful management of significant environmental and cultural heritage issues.
