Rural Hospital, Queensland
Demolition of an aged government owned rural hospital
Initially commencing as a partial demolition, strip out and asbestos removal, this project required complete demolition under controlled asbestos conditions. Loose insulation material was found in the ceiling cavity and as decontamination was not deemed a safe solution, complete demolition of the building was undertaken. Demex conducted extensive soil remediation post demolition.
Safe management of project execution under changing project conditions. Successful logistics and workforce management, including transport of equipment and disposal of materials post project.
